Pls don't get me wrong

• Khin & me
• I worked with KMD in Yangon from Aug 2003 – Mar 2005. While I was working at RMA(return material authorization) deparment, in 2004, a girl called Khin moved from sales dept to our department. She had a boyfriend named Phyo who worked at service department of the same company. They were matched and loved each other so much. He used to send her off to office and have lunch together. He also used to meet her after work and send her to her house in 21 street.
• After about 4-5 weeks she arrived to our dept, Phyo was transferred to Mandalay branch to stay 6 months as the company’s rotating scheme. They were so sad to separate but there was nothing they could do as this was the company policy. So Phyo went to Mandalay and worked there for 6 months.
• Khin was an active and lovely girl. She talked lovely and a lot. In the morning before the work began, with other colleagues, we used to sit at teashop and have breakfast together. That time I was so broke (no money) that I was in constant search for somebody to lend me some money that would be paid back at the end of the month when I got the pay. Funny but true, once I got the pay, I used to pay back the debts I took from others in the previous month. In such cases, normally half of my salary went into paying back the debts and the other half wasn’t enough for the month anymore that I had to look for someone who could lend some money again (I stayed at a paid hostel and had food at shops). I couldn’t manage to stop that circle cos’ I was not wise at spending. Anyway, that’s part of my life and what made me and Khin get involved each other.
• OF course, I tried to get some money from her to pay back in the month-end. She was willing to lend me money to me as part becouse of she was subordinate to me.
• Phyo and Khin had no disconnection even though they were separate. In the morning either Khin or Phyo would call. They talk a lot and sometimes she would cry speaking to the phone. I remember Phyo sent a big teddy bear for her from Mandalay for her birthday. She was so happy that she talk a lot about that in the morning at teashop. Normally, we were 4 to have breakfast there and we got roaster for paying for the meal. But later, me and Khin were the only 2 left to go to teashop with other guys with some other reasons.
• I continued borrowing money from her as well.
• As time passed, after about 4 months after Phyo had gone to Mandalay, people started telling about us, me and Khin . One of my colleagues even told me that I was robbing Khin from Phyo. Hearing that kind of message, I was supprised as all I did was as sincere as just after for borrowing money. Even though I noticed her loviliness, I never thought of such kind of thinking. And I behaved myself. I came to work late, I mean, just in time so that I could have no time to sit at teashop.
• After 5 months she arrived to our dept, she was transferred to one of the company’s branches in Yangon that we had no chances anymore to meet up like before. Later I learned that Phyo and Khin separated even though Phyo came back from Mandalay.
• On one ocassion, I met Khin on a bus. She told me all about their story. She said she wasn’t informed his home coming from Mandalay though she expected to be. After he got back to Yangon, Phyo never tried to contact her she said. I was very saddened to hear such things and I felt guilty if I played a role in their separating. So, I talked to her, if they needed my explaination, I was ready to do it.
• After not very soon, Phyo got a new girlfriend from the same company (different branches). I saw them happy hanging around together. I also saw Khin very depressed though she still working with the company (the three worked at different branches).
